John, I had a lot of trouble installing my control arm bushings. The OD was a few thou larger than they should be. What I noticed was they the tooling used to make the bushings left a very slight ridge on the outer
case at four or five points. Look out for that. I ended up filing the ridges off and then dressing the surface on my polisher. I also had to chamfer the control arm at the end so that they would press in. It was still a VERY hard press but they went in. I had to go to a napa locally owned store and they had them. It did take 3 times to get the right parts. Very frustrating because my alignment guy took the car apart and my D tied up his lift for 3 weeks. Usually the locally owned stores
still have the books to physically look up the part numbers and cross reference them Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone -------- Original message -------- From: "larry.pwb via Chrysler 300 Club International" <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

My concern is the rubber on these unused older bushings is probably deteriorating Larry . --
