You could put your cam etc in a 440 , more cubes only help . . Even your J/k heads .fit some want older 4 bolts etc . I’ll take six bolts and todays best heads . But it all fits .Ram is fine with this Might go 9.25 compression on 440 too , given no sunoco 260 in 2023 . You almost have to back off timing on J/K from optimal with todays gas More cubes fixes that loss ? or else you risk detonation you might not hear when “in it “ = piston hole or hidden damage . I do agree crack in outer water jacket you can get by even with pour in block fix . I have a Buick 60 electra 225 like that for 30 years . Long, 6” crack between two sidewall core plugs . Attitude was nothing to lose , it worked . .Depends how wide and where Cast iron cannot be welded , period , in engineering sense . Can cause more harm than good . it will crack right next to any weld attempt at room temp. Braze maybe but to do right whole block needs preheat , impractical . 449 block makes sense to me .. I think made sense to George in his legendary fast J too Sent from my iPhone On Jul 16, 2023, at 6:25 PM, 'Mwl1967' via Chrysler 300 Club International <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
