Ray, if you can blow up the attached photo you might see the copper tubing from Home depot I used to plumb my 61 Savoy Sono-Ramic in 2007, when I knew next to nothing about the particularities of the 300 franchise. I used internet photos of mostly G engine bays to bend and install the pipes and it was easy. I never did get a good answer as to why some ram inducted cars use the copper pipe and others including my F do not.

--Thanks to everyone who responded to my copper heater pipe question. I have to believe at this point that the driver side pipe is not bent correctly. I finished up my distributor restoration today and dropped it into position. I wanted to make sure that I would be able to hook up the pipes to the front water pump housing nipples. I have decided to buy some Gates hoses that have a molded 90 degree elbow. I should be able to make the hose connections without collapsing the hoses.
