I hate to respond too quickly on this, but I've had some issues with Quirey so far as well. I hope that it's just start up issues or interpreting Gary's drawings, etc. I first bought the battery cables, which came out with the wrong connector on the end of the Positive cable. I sent it back to be corrected, and it came back to me looking like they just took a drill bit and made the hole bigger in a not so clean manner. I could have done that. I was expecting a new correct battery end. I recently ordered items delivered to the Carolina show. The clips to hold on my new hood insulation pad were a bit oversized compared to my originals, so it was very difficult to 'pop' them into place to hold up the pad. I also paid a lot for a convertible boot, and it was missing the two weighted side flaps and the entire front piece that is meant to slide into the metal channel on the back of the rear seats to properly seal the well. I returned it just after the show, but have not received a correctly manufactured one in return yet. Do they not have a correct pattern for these boots? I never ordered one from Gary, so I don't know if Gary had the wrong pattern in his inventory, or if Quirey just doesn't know these cars very well and isn't getting it right. I also ordered new driver's side door panel material as my black armrest is pretty tired. I haven't tried installing it yet, but it appears to be correct just holding it up to the door.
I really, really, want these folks to get it right, as except for some parts from Van's, there is precious little help from the 'aftermarket' for our Brutes.
