I would be interested to know if anyone out there really knows how to fix these. Bob Brown’s awesome E doesn’t work and he sorta gave up on it. Mine worked when we took my E apart. Might have got some dirt in it when i cleaned it, or not adjusted properly when put back together. From what i have read, not just the big unit under the hood, but also the steering column unit, both have to be adjusted right. Way beyond my abilities. But it was a pain to drive due all the pedal back at the high end settings, 100 ? Solved that with help of several at the Minneapolis meet by disconnecting the linkages. Auto pilot still doesn’t work, but you don’t get a sore leg driving now.. I would still like to get it working. Hopefully out of storage shortly…..
