RE: {Chrysler 300} Power Steering Pump Cap

Here is a picture of the power steering pump from my ’64 K, with the cap in place.  The cap is not marked vented but it does vent through the raised dimple on the top.

Hello, everyone:

 

The service manual and parts catalog do not specify whether or not the cap is vented. I have a cap that is not stamped "vented." Is it okay to use on a '64 pump?
