The description is as follows: Candlepower 12V50/15w Halogen bulb #H1157 Made in Korea and not China LED bulbs are much brighter and efficient but heavier on the wallet. I don't recall what I paid for the Halogen but a lot less than what LED's are going for now. FYI i experimented with Philips 8 watt MR-16 type show window type reflector led , really bright , white . although made for 12 ac , they work fine on DC . I learned about them from 12 v dc solar house setup. Only one filament but could ? add another bulb in the F space in tailight back plate .

Have to improvise . john Sent from my iPhone not by choice Compliments to John Lazenby, I converted to led's on my F several years ago. Work like a champ. Use my closed garage door to test before I drive the F Obtained an under the dash brake light switch from an H and have no problems with hydraulic fluid deterioration. Also, I use yellow filament bulbs in the front turning signals. LED replacements have gotten better over the years but the LEDs need to be located in the same general area as the filaments in the old bulbs in order for the relectors to work properly.
