hi mike , cores hard come by for new cams, 57 8 not the same as earlier , angles of lifters changed . solids needed .

See hot heads , 392 milder one ; i was very lucky —for a while comp cams had no cores then they did . so I got a modern grind there at comp still about 280 adv duration . I paid extra for nitriding the cam face . exact numbers are not critical within 5 % or so .use stock style dual springs and spring loads , not more ( cam wipe) . zddp etc and careful break in 2500 rpm first 20 minutes . get best lifters you can buy , comp ?

Isky I understand has cores or did .

just info , my own experience . Comp sort of top of heap in cams , smart guys . try there imho
