[Chrysler300] Replace/repair '64 300 rear frame rails?

I have an inquiry as to the feasibility of repairing or replacing the rear frame rails of a 1964 Chrysler 300 Pacesetter convertible.  Has anyone done that or have an informed opinion on this issue?

 

Anyone have credible information on how many Pacesetter convertibles were sent from the factory in any color other than Pacesetter Blue?
