Near the end of today's Mecum Kissimmee coverage, the black 300-G coupe - formerly owned by Bill Korbel, and Chrysler Cup Senior Class winner in Concours judging at our rainy Fall 2012 Lake George, NY Meet - gaveled for $100,000, excluding buyer commission. This beautiful coupe has been featured twice in Hemming's publications, and also in our Lake George Meet Report -

You'll note a few errors in this article - 1959 300 did not introduce crossram induction; the C-300 was not the 1956 300 model, and 1956 was not powered by a 331 inch hemi; dash lighting is 'Panelescent,' and not 'Pearlescent' electroluminescent lighting.

This article also sadly mentions the passing of Bill Korbel in March 2012, just a few short months after Lake George.

This video is primarily of the judging of Bill's 300-G, with short footage of the judging of Mark Souders' great black 300-H coupe. You'll notice the judging was happening under the hotel's entrance canopy, to protect primarily the 300s and secondarily our judges from the rainy weather. You'll also notice Bill's same NY license plate appears in all 3 of these pieces.
