I was at that auction and spent 30 minutes inspecting the car prior to the bidding.
I listed about 15 incorrect, missing or broken items - examples, AFB's not correct, aluminum drivers floor assemblies missing, taillight bezels broken, etc.
Build date was 11-1 and engine block date was 10-28, so that seems correct. Block also was stamped with HP and S 41.
Engine ran well, but I could not tell if solid lifters were still present.
VIN plate had been re-installed.
Dual master cylinder, so probably disc brakes.
I believe that the selling price at the Las Vegas auction earlier this year was $47,000.

A couple of days ago I was watching the Mecam auction in California on TV, and a green H convert with a green interior sold for $80,000. Anybody know about this car? Terry McTAggart
