If that 300H had a paint code starting with 99, then it could
have had that sage green colour.
You’re correct Jim that the normal paint colours for these
were black, white, red and caramel.
However, with it having paint code ZZ7 then it was originally
a caramel car with a white convertible top.
According to Gil Cunningham, I own one of only two known
special order paint 300H convertibles.
The second one was burgundy and got parted out over 20 years
ago as it was too far gone.
The gentleman who found it, cloned a 1962 newport
convertible with all the 300H badges and installed a cross ram engine in it but
he was not claiming that it is a 300H convertible. I had his name and email on
file but my old computer crashed a while back and I lost his contact info but
would sure like to be in touch with him again.
