I have experienced that all. Fuel pumps, hoses all eaten up by ethanol. I must say however that was when ethanol first started and everything rubber was formulated to "Non Ethanol" fuel. Since then (the late 90's as I recall, rubber parts have been upgraded to be less affected. What I experience now is that the gas goes bad in a few months, if not treated with a gas additive, It also seems to evaporate quicker and varnish up my carbs when left non driven for any extended time. Also seems to promote rust in the tank and lines....Simply stated My thoughts are...... "ETHANOL gas mixtures are truly EVIL and the spawn of the Devil". Just my opinion.
