RE: [Chrysler300] 300G for sale

The seller apparently copied the second line from the data plate and assumed it was the VIN.

I believe the 0203 is the Scheduled Operation date Feb 3, 1961  the 1129 is the mysterious second half of the “SO NUMBER” (possibly the sequence of this car’s production on the SO date of Feb. 3) and the 842 is the body style—a 1961 Chrysler 300 G 2-door hardtop.

Bidding is up to $3,900, or so, for this factory red & a/c 300G.  Already in the registry?
