Re: [Chrysler300] 300L front brake width?

Dan and Group,

Mark Obermann and I headed out early yesterday to the Krasl Art Center Concours on the Bluff in St Jo, Michigan. Saw Wayne Kutchinski's presentation of his freshly restored white 300C convertible. Wayne had a photo with the car in memory of Dwayne DeButts, with his note of thank-you's to John Begian, Gil Cunningham, Jim Bartuska and Gary Goers, among others. We visited with Wayne and with Jim Bartuska, while admiring his C.

Then we cruised west on I-80 to Morris. Sorry we missed you there last night - new record of 917 cars for them! Mark was asking about you and your 300L, remembering that we had visited in Morris last year. Hope you also got a look at friends John Dales' & John Eggert's beautiful '61 DeSoto black over bronze coupe, parked across Washington Street.

Subject: [Chrysler300] 300L front brake width?

Hi all:

I am buying new brake drums for the front of my 300L and Rock Auto offers two choices in width - 11"x2&3/4", or 11"x3".  It's just a stock 300L, early model year build.  Short of measuring, is there an easy answer here?Any reason not to buy a Bendix or Raybestos drum?

Thank you in advance for any insight offered.

Btw, was just at the Morris, IL cruise night - one 300 only (Noel's?), and one Imperial...........
