On the 300J, I have seen red, gold, chrome (incorrect) and at least one
with red bases and gold covers; owner claimed it came that way from new (car had
been in the family). George R said only red was correct for the J but I
disagree based on evidence seen to date. I suspect the factory used what
was available in the parts bin including possible leftovers from the F/G.
