Now this is a very interesting question. Here is what I discovered.
My 1964 dealer showroom Facts Book and Trim Selector designates the letter car as "300K". However, the sales brochures and magazine advertisement copy designates the letter car as "300-K".
In my humble opinion, I believe that either way is correct. My "two cents" for what its worth.
