Sounds to me like one or more of the brake drums may be "out of round" ever so slightly. When was the last time the brake drums were machined (turned)?

Subject: [Chrysler300] 1956 300B brake question/problem
Symptom: the brakes feel "oblong" or "pulsing" at low speed stop such as around town. No problems at high speed stops. The car stops straight and true. I haven't seen anything in my search of the forums etc.
Any ideas would be most appreciated. Thank You Kindly
