All:
I totally disassembled the one on my 300F.  There were some problems  with 
reassembly fit due to chromers heavy use of plating.  Also on the "F"  
mirror, it is hard to get good plating on the "ribbed" area of the body where  it 
attaches to the support.  Overall, I was quite satisfied though,  and it IS 
the original mirror that came with the car.  (important to  me)
