We got a 2-post lift from American Automotive about a year ago, and have  
been very pleased with it.  It's well-built, and seems to work very  well.  
Recently I visited a friend and walked under his 4-post Chinese made  lift.  
It was so flimsy I felt uncomfortable.  Good luck.

they are a good  supplier.

A  two poster, but they have 4 post lifts also and get on their mailing 
list as  they often have sales with real deep discounts.
You can call and bargain  with them also, I think.
