So do I understand the non-remote passenger outside mirror is the same as the drivers remote ?

Same mirror Patrick. The difference might be in the hollow center post that would house the cables for the remote. To my knowledge All passenger side mirrors in the '60 thru '63 or '64 years were installed at the Dealers and not at the factory. Perhaps our esteemed Tallahassee Guru will chime in and correct me if I'm wrong, Jer

is a passenger side rearview mirror ever proper on a 300F? i've seen 300Fs pictured both ways. those available online do not match the 1960 exactly...they seem to match a 61.
