Hi Neal:  There is a fix for this trunk weather seal. What's happening here is that the rubber is too thick as is and makes it difficult to close the trunk. You must make a cut all along the one side to decrease the thickness of that seal. I am forwarding this email to Bob Hayen who lives closes to Gary Goers and I'm sure that he'll direct you as to how to correct this problem. I had the same situation when we did it on my 300H conv but the fix works very well.   Fern

  Good morning to all.
  I would like to know if there is a supplier for the trunk weatherstrip. 
  I'm looking for something different from what Gary Goers supplies. I 
  installed a new one from Goers yesterday and after doing a magnificent 
  job, I couldn't shut the trunk lid. According to his info, his 
  replacement is for 62 up but should work. I know I installed it 
  according to his instructions, so now I have a sore back and a mess to 
  clean up.
