[Chrysler300] "F" hood release

I have received a few suggestions of how to open the hood until a fix is 
done.  The fix I came up with was a wooden paint stick.  It is long 
enough, sturdy enough and won't scratch the paint.  Sliding it in the 
small space between the hood and grille, it works great.  I carry that 
in my tool box. But with the cable so tight, it doesn't look right and I 
figure I'm on borrowed time.  The next time it will be too short.
