I did the same on my Li'l Red Express. Used a Chryser Loooong horn. What a blast!!

If you really want to make a noise, try this trick. I used the factory 6 volt horns that originally dressed my 48 Chrysler coupe. Clean them up, dress the points inside and then connect to your 12 volt system. Sounds like a Union Pacific freight train....
