[Chrysler300] Directions, please

Took the steering wheel off the 1963 300j today to fix the lack of turn-signal cancellation both left and right and found the plastic fingers that do the stopping are both broken off.  Parts book calls for p/n 2258-700 to correct.  Some vendors have reproduction stuff that is 1/3 the price of factory MOPAR parts. Anybody have experience with this one way or another?
