The tilt column in my 65 was made by GM . I bought a new switch at fall Carlisle from Hubbard's GM and here is a link to a chebie site where you can download the entire service manual for the Comfort Tilt column. I used a block of wood cut down and inserted into the "shell" to remove it, using a slide hammer and some dry wall screws inserted into the wood. Our lower bearing is slightly different than the GM bearing however, I bought the GM bearing kit hoping to use it and found when I got home it was different.
