[Chrysler300] Cross Refernce List for 1955 and 1956 300 Gas Caps

    Hello to all.

    I just purchased a non original (Chrysler) gas cap that fits and works well on my 1956 300B.

    The make is STANT and model number is G37.    This is old stock, not currently available, but per the box, works on the following cars:

    Cadillac   1949 - 1958 (some)
    Chevrolet 1953 - 1957
    Corvair     1960
    Chrysler   1955 - 1956 except wagons and Imperial
    De Soto    1955 - 1956 except wagons
    Dodge       1955 - 1956 except wagons
    Hudson     1954 and 1953, 1954 Jet
    Lincoln  Cosmopolitan    
    Nash Statesman  and Ambassador 1952 - 1955
    Packard  and Clipper 1950 - 1956
    Plymouth 1955 - 1956 except wagons

    This is the correct vented type of cap with two (2) ears for easy on/off.

    This may give you a list of other gas caps that work in pinch,  until you can find the correct original.   Or, ones to look for at the swap meet to keep as a spare.
