I went out to the storage and looked at my 300B.  They appear to be the same and if so the C300 would be as well.  On stuff like this it makes sense they would use them on more than one make to help keep the cost down.

Here are some pic's of a pair of ash recievers that I think came from my '56 Dodge many years ago.

Would they be the same as 55-56 Chrysler??

The part # in the lid is 1607-898 and the chrome is in great shape w/normal wear and no pits. Bodies are not rusted through and the springs look like new.
