Last reference to special high performance Blue Streak tires on 300s
that I can find is 1960 300F with 9.00-14. The 300G went to 8.00-15 with
8.20-15 optional and the 300H and 300J had 7.60-15 6 ply. It appears
that the 300K shows standard 8.50-14 4ply and the 300L shows 8.55-14
with 8.85-14 optional.
As of January 1 1964 Goodyear Price Lists, the Blue Streak (equipped
with sidewall valve for optional use with "Captive-air steel-cord safety
shield") was only made in 3 sizes - 9.00-14 ($100.65 list price),
7.60-15 ($94.45), and 8.00-15 ($100.65). All were narrow white, 3T Nylon
cord - plies not specified. 8.50-14 OE Tires listed by Goodyear were
Custom Super Cushion Rayon which were still available in 4-ply in the
larger sizes or 4-ply rating (2-ply).
