There are 3 bolts on each trunk hinge bracket that you can loosen up to adjust the height of the top corners on the trunk lid. The procedure is outlined in the Chrysler shop manual ( 1960 ) in chapter 23, page 77 and 78,...if you have the manual. Maybe the 3 bolts came loose on that side and the lid moved?? Just watch out when you close the trunk lid after adjusting ( lowering) the hinge, as it will be closer to the car's body and you can chip your paint if the lid is too low and contacts the body along that upper edge.
Good luck!

Subject: [Chrysler300] Rising Deck Lid Corner
Hi Group:
I have a problem with the deck lid on my G coupe. The right hand top
corner has risen maybe 1/2" to 3/8" above where it should be when it is
closed. Can someone (anyone) let me know how one goes about adjusting that
problem, or from whence it might stem? Is there room for adjustment on the
hinge? I don't want to start playing around with it and find that I am
making it worse. Your collective advice will be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Pete Fitch
