Good morning,

I am hopeful some former members show up at the meet and maybe even rejoin
the Club.  So far, there have been about 5 - 6 who seem genuinely
interested.  One especially good call was when I talked to John Hayes in
Gloverville, NY.  Anytime I'm given an email such as John's
(moparsonly@xxxxxxxxxxxx) you know he is a pretty serious car guy.  By the
time we finished talking about his cars, I was able to tell John it was his
C, that he had sold to George McKovich, that was on the postage stamp.  John
had used the stamp without knowing it was his old car.

We had our first frost of the year Monday night (and most my tomatoes are
still green).,

That would be Meet Committee Member, Carlton Schroeder. 
He's taken on getting us in all the mags, and also calls every known past
and present member of the Host state.
Does a great job, and we've had some members and past members show up who
haven't been to meets for years.
