[Chrysler300] Automatic beam changer

I have an auto beam changer that I hope to instal in my 300F.  There are two connectors coming from the control box - one goes to the foot operated dimmer switch.  My question is whether the standard dimmer switch can be used or if a special dimmer switch is required.
