[Chrysler300] MoPars in the Park Car Show

Joint members of both clubs also scored in the Chrysler 300 letter car (’55-’65) category at the show in Rancho Cordoba-near Sacramento, CA.  Bruce and Maryann Toelle 1st with their beautiful ‘65L, me and my white C-300 2nd and Doug and his Red H coupe 3rd.  Other joint club members in attendance included DeAndrea Van Tree (black C coupe), Roger Selby (white L coupe), Richard Palmer and Henry Hopkins (Phantum B rag).  A good turnout of 300’s and we continue to notice and appreciate that most of the MoPar guys in attendance really know about and appreciate these old Brutes.  INC member randy Hastie brought the dump truck and was awarded a trophy.  

 

The meet is held in Hagan Park in Rancho Cordoba  in an area with a lot of trees for shade.  Keep this show in mind for future years.  Judging is done by members of the Capital City MoPars car club whose cars are ineligible for awards.  Everything from an AMX to a 413-powered dump truck were on site and there were a lot of trophies given out.

Yesterday must have been the day for 62 Sport Convertibles! 

At the annual" Mopar Day in the Park" show, both my 62 Sport Conv. and H Coupe received trophies.

Saturday I took " Marilyn " , my 1962 300 Sport Convertible to the Mopar Action @ the Grove All Mopar car show and drag racing at Maple Grove Raceway Park. It was a beautiful day. 
Herb " Mr. 4 Speed "McCandless , and his wife, was also there with his beautiful 300G. 

Don Garlits was also there and he chose his 25 Favorites in the car show. Herb McCandless won one of the awards. I was somewhat surprised when my name was also called for an award. 

See you all in Carlisle in two weeks.
