I can tell you from my experience, not only with my 62 727, but my 69 Dart 727 also:  the trans pan is only made to come off/on about 5 times.  After that, it will always leak.  The only non-original thing I have on my H is an aluminum trans pan.  Once that was on, no more trans oil leaks.

Hi Group
 
When my 300k conv. sits for a few days I have a puddle of trans fluid on the garage floor.  I just had the oil changed and it did not have any leaks on  the transmission case. This is the third time it has happen when the car sits for a few days after I have driven it. I was wondering could it be leaking from the trans  cable?
 
I also have a problem with on of the belts. It squeals when I go over 40 mph. They seem to be tight.  I did have the radiator over heat and maybe that is causing the squealing. Thanks for your help with my two concerns.
