I would just like to add to Jeff's comments if I may. You do not have to
remove the entire AstraDome (yes, that's how it is spelled in the '61
Chrysler brochure), you can just remove the gauges from underneath fairly
easily, they are held in place with two screws. Just remove the bottom
panel and look up.

I assume you are trying to remove the whole "astrodome" as a unit. I'm sure
you have removed the obvious screws. There are screws behind the dash
"appliques", those are the pieces with the cross hatch and are marked with
"lights" , "wiper" etc. You have to get them off to get to the screws on
either side of the "astrodome". Hope this helps
