Rich, and others:
Mariola (my colleague / translator), and I had been scouring that website and were unable to find ANY contact info (as of yet). She's not a car girl but, I explained that we would like to begin some type of communication with them if possible. (It's kind of like trying to contact aliens in outer space!)
She seemed to get the impression that the site is more of a simple fact-based web page, with a few links, one of which is "300mclub.org", I believe from the US. There is also a "forum" but, nowhere to find any contact info, or membership joining address. It will just take some more digging but, I am sure we'll be able to make contact somehow. Mariola will resume the de-coding mission tomorrow.
We'll use the intro letter that you drafted and keep everyone posted. Also, happy birthday to your C-300. Dan

Hi, Dan:
It might work out for you and your colleague to visit the website together and determine the possible contact methods. Then, send them an e-mail in Polish sending them greetings from both Chrysler 300 clubs here in the USA, give them the two website addresses and ask if they can put us into contact with an English-speaking/writing member there that we could communicate with.
SEPARATE ISSUE: Our 1955 Chrysler C-300 (VIN 3N551198--#198/1725) was shipped on St. Patrick’s Day in 1955 so is celebrating its 56 th birthday Thursday. No gifts, please. Cards welcomed.
Draft—editing welcomed.
Greetings to the members of the Chrysler 300 Club in Poland.
We recently discovered your website http://chrysler300.pl/?page_id=16 and were impressed with the construction and photos but were not able to read much of the text, even after a Google translation. Can you direct us to a member of your club that can communicate in English and might be willing to act as a translator? What we could read in our translation indicates you are very familiar with the rich history of the Chrysler 300 automobile and that we share many interests and passion for the Chrysler 300 automobiles. We hope you have many members and good selection of Chrysler 300’s.
Our websites are as follows: www.chrysler300club.com and www.chrysler300clubinc.com We have two different clubs here in the United States and they were formed independently over 40 years ago. We are looking forward to a joint car show in Carmel, California in June of this year and would love to have your club send a representative to the show. We may have fifty Chrysler 300’s there. We’d like to have someone write up an article about your club with pictures that we could publish in our magazines.
Both clubs have members in various European countries and we would welcome having members in Poland. It is highly likely that many workers of Polish descent were responsible for designing, building and marketing Chrysler 300’s over the last 56 years.
Sincerely,
Chrysler 300 Club International, Inc.

Rich, et al:
I have a colleague here in my office that is from Poland. I'm sure she would be happy to read / translate a little bit for us. Throw together an introduction letter and I'll have her translate it and use their "contact us". That will get the ball rolling...........
Btw, I'm here in Chicago, (and newish to the club).

I agree. But the challenge to me is the first contact. I'm assuming one of
the links at their website says "contact us" or somesuch. If I was back in
Omaha, I'm sure I could find old friends that could read Polish or had
friends that did. I'm hoping an Omaha, Chicago or Michigan member will have
access to Polish speaking/reading friends that could help.

I don't think we need to ask them in Polish. The people in foreign
countries are not like us and speak only 1 language. I'm sure they will
understand English. Just my 2 cents.

Another member did this and the results were recognizable as being classic

would be cool to link up with English-speaking/writing guys in that club.

Nice 300 site.
Anyone know enough Polish to ask them for a link exchange with our two US
300 club's sites.
I think their members would enjoy our sites just as we enjoy theirs.
