It's been quite some time since I've been inside an AFB, but if those jets are indeed threaded, but the slots are disfigured, I'm thinking one of those tapered, reverse threaded "easy out" screw extractor bits might do the trick. Just a thought though, any one care to comment? Best Regards to all! TFM Thomas F. If it's a size issue (don't go there :-)) I would sacrifice a screwdriver and carefully grind one for an exact fit. If the slots are already buggered beyond repair, drilling is the only way I know. Possibly mounting the body upside down and working from the bottom would minimize where the chips go.
