1) Sorry to ask, but what was the simple stuff you rub into old windscreen rubber/rubber, to soften it up a bit? Know it has been mentioned before. 2) How the ***** do you most simply remove the chrome surround part of the dash mounted hood release on a '60 New Yorker - no doubt the 300F the same?! Are there screws in behind it that hold it, a slip out tongue like some trunk/door locks have - or what. Boy these 60s Chryslers are so unfriendly to work on versus the '57 300 models - like what the hell changed, why does it seem there are so many things on the later model so unfriendly to work on - did no one tell the designers the part they were creating had to go on a car, plus then be easily removed !!!? And the workshop Manual and parts books never show the small important parts, just the big so obvious to 'blinfd freddy' bits!!??
