Amen to that Andy.  

 

Disc Brakes are the only rational decision to make.  It's not my driving
style that I am worried about, I'm more afraid of the guy behind me being
watchful enough to stop his vehicle without running into me.

I hope all you would-be engineers don't hit anybody. If the lawyers (or your
insurance carriers) do a quick web search of your name, the listserver
(and/or tech) archives will show you admit you altered your braking system.
Right there for all the world to see. In perpetuity. Good luck with that.
