[Chrysler300] 300G at Mecum St. Charles

I just noticed that a letter car has finally been consigned to the Mecum St.
Charles auction, which takes place during our fall meet across the street
from the host hotel. It is the same golden G that was consigned at Mecum
Monterey last month and was a no sale at $65k. It would appear that this is
the 1 of 1 Golden G that was found and once owned by John Hertog; has anyone
actually confirmed that is the case? It now wears 55-56 style wire wheels
and for some strange reason is listed as having a 383 engine! I would hope
that was a major mistake in the listing. The G is scheduled to cross the
block in St. Charles on Saturday afternoon, during the club show up in Volo
(great timing).
