So this is reason #562 why owning a Parts Book is a 'good thing'.
Group: 21-84-4 - Transmission Speedometer Cable Includes Shaft and Housing
Housing with Shaft - Length: 63 5/32"
Part No: 1436 529
Interchanges (there may be others, but these come from 55-59 parts books.
PF=powerflite; TF=Torqueflite)
55-7 Plymouth PF
57 Plymouth TF
57 Chrysler (all)
59 Plymouth PF, TF
A little research; a lot less aggravation. Because of the precise length
requirement, I would go with the original part, even used, rather than the
flowery promises of some guy in CA.
