  In Arizona, I was able to get personalized '55 C300'. I seem to remember that I could not get '1955 300'. 

  The Arizona 'Historic Vehicle' plates are on a lot of really junky old trash so I stayed with the then normal passenger car personalized format, which is now, at 24 years old, still valid and kind of historic anyway.
