Welcome to the group, Troy.
Believe me, it's not normally like this. Usually, a question is asked and you get many answers back. Often very different answers which make for a lot of posts.
They report their personal experience with  the problem, or vendor, or where to get parts.
We (mostly) all enjoy reading these, after all, you can't get this in a magazine.
