Hello everyone!
Just a note to let all know that a collaboration between Club members John Grady and Jean-Yves Chouinard as made possible the reproduction of some small parts that may be of interest to some. This is just a small personnal joint project and not an official Club reproduction commitee project.
There is a link to go to the "Parts and Services for sale" of the Club's web site below for those interested to know more( Thanks to Bob Merritt!).
An ad will be in the next News Flite and Club News.
Basically the parts/services are:
1- Heater switch rebuilt service: I can rebuilt your plastic heater switch. John has reproduced the "cams" inside the switch that wear out over time and make the switch hard or impossible to operate. Reproduction cams are made of Delrin plastic and will outlast the original cams. Can also replace broken port nipples on the back of the switch with brass ones.
2- Quarter glass window rollers for all coupes and convertible. Also made of Delrin plastic.
We know for sure these rollers are all the same on 1960-1964 Chrysler 300 and C-Body cars alike. What we don't know is if they are the same for pre-1960 or in 1965. Anybody that has some quarter glass working experience on pre 1960 AND post 1960 cars and want to comment on the assumed interchange is welcome to share their experience.
3- Brass nuts to replace the headlight "plastic or nylon type" adjusting nuts.
All these parts are made in the USA with CNC machine and fit perfectly.
So check out the ad on the web site for more details or contact me off the list at jymopar@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Thank you!
300'ly
Jean-Yves and John.

That is great Bob!!
Just one more thing. Is it a big deal to add one more picture to the ad? It's a picture that shows where the rollers go on the quarter glass frame. If you can add it to the ad, fine, if not it's o.k.
So if I get things right , you are going to put the ad on the" parts for sale" section, and I will just forward a note to the list server with the link you send me. I can do that.
Thanks!
Jean-Yves
