[Chrysler300] 65 AC crank pulley

A friend of mine is restoring his 65 300L and asked about the crank pulley. His car has AC. He commented about the odd iridescent paint he found on the back of the pulley so I went out to my parts car and found the same thing. These are the pictures of my pulley.

What is the correct color for the pulley? Engine color? Black? Something else?
