Mac and All:
Lets start at the end.  Body 825 is a non-letter 300  Convertible.  S-38 
engine is a 1962 ("S" Series) 383.  Your "Trim"  number looks more like an SO 
number, and if so, the first four digits would be  the scheduled date of 
production, 5/16/62.  I have no idea what "Prod:  1971" means.  VIN# 8223 
218424 is a 1962 non-letter 300.
