[Chrysler300] 69 300

Happy New Year to All;

My college age son has decided to rid himself of his 4 cylinder, recycled
beer can econobox and drive around in a old classic. I am looking for
something that runs and drives well right now, and we can play around and tweak
it up as time goes on.

I found a 1969 300 4 door Hardtop in really decent shape. No post, it's a
CM43. It's fairly low optioned, with A/C, and power steering but no power
brakes. Crank windows, manual seat, it's really a cool looking car. Quick
question. The VIN says it's a "K" code motor. I'm not familiar with the
'69 codes. Can someone tell me what that would be? I'm thinking it's a
383/4-bbl but I could be wrong. Can someone tell me this engine?

Thanks and best regards,

Ian Carlton
