The VIN does appear in the video at the end of the pictures and sure looks  
like LC4 1630.  If so, it indeed has been around the "for sale" circuit for 
 a long time.  LC4 1630 attended the 2002 Spring Meet in Newport,  Rhode 
Island.   At that time it had an engine from a 1957  Imperial.  (All right--so 
does my 300C!)  It sure is a pretty car in  the photos, although one 
wonders why one would put all that money in a resto and  be satisfied with that 
ugly battery and improper hold down.   Also causing doubt as to quality of 
detail were the bumper  bracket and attachment bolts which appeared to all be 
painted black right along  with the frame.
For general info, a 300D this late in the model year should have the  mylar 
rectangles on the door trim panel carpet.
