Although I'm not a frequent contributor, I can jump in on this one. Back in the Fall of '63, (as a 16-year old) , I was all set on ordering a brand new K with Ram, but when was informed I would not be able to order it with Chrysler's all new, in-house 4-speed, I decided I wasn't interested and instead got a '64 Dodge Polara 500 Coupe with the Street Wedge 426 and 4-speed trans with Factory Hurst shifter..  Quite a car, but not a New K. I did later (in 1971 ) purchase a K coupe with Ram.   Steve Maynard

Nope... no 4 speed option with the ram engine option. Either, but not both
