  I had some smaller things for my C300 and three bumpers worked over at a plating shop in El Monte, CA  That is quite a distance from us here in AZ and I have never been there. The company laid all my parts out on a  photo happy background and sent me polaroids. That was my inventory.Got all my pieces back.  Long time before digital photography. 

  My next dealings with small parts processing ( I doubt with the El Monte people because they probably are not there after so long) I will insist on such documentation.
